Meritem is the realisation of my work developing and delivering training programmes at both a national and international level, including USA, South Africa and Europe. I am also a qualified CIPD Coach Mentor.

My particular expertise is in helping people realise their full potential. From teaching, to National Training Manager for Snap-on, there is something in my portfolio that your company can use to get the most from its principal asset – its employees

Training – growing your reputation

Most companies recognise that the cost of recruitment means that it makes business sense to build expertise from within their company; and the best way to do this is through training. This is no secret; here, the winners of the 2005 Chamber Award for Skills and Workforce Development, sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council, share some of the secrets of their success.

  1. Think long term. Developing a long term training strategy for your staff will encourage a feeling of job ownership and of being valued.
  2. Develop clear training programmes. Put visible bespoke development and training progression routes in place for your employees.

Additionally, they advise clued-up employers to ‘look in-house for trainers. Consider using successful employees as trainers to the next generation by giving them coaching to be effective trainers and presenters’.* With a wealth of experience in taking training to the workforce – and as an employee turned trainer myself – I can create the expertise you need within your own company.

In setting up Meritem, we are looking to give our experience of bringing the best out of people a wider remit, and there is plenty that we can do for you. So consider your training needs – or let Meritem help you.
